Sounds minor issue. I'd need however a bsnes savestate to trace.

Not a save state, but three minutes to get there:
I used bsnes-plus v4 for that:
Start the game and use these two cheats:
869AB160
8697D4AD
Now get out of the village and push A for the airship Razz
Now fly to the very north to the castle in the middle of the desert. There the scene with the problem starts flawlessly.

EDIT: Yeah airship fly melody is wrong at first use, but this is normal and the original game does the same in that code used.

it should mute now (I tested it only with Geiger however, not with real msu on).

Oh and I was surprised that it worked with your 2 sentence solution to get there, but in the future, I think I need savestates or a better description (image) where to land or such Wink

Looks good. Made it till the Ancient cave today and all silence scenes were silence. No other problems found up to now. Now I have to redo two towers.... pushed the wrong button and thus the save is gone!
