Smashing Deadrocks with the Hammer
The Deadrocks of death Mountain that become statues when hit, will giving the hammer the ability to smash them as difficult as recoding enemy properties?

I checked Zeldix Magic's / superskuj's sprite editor, it doesn't seem to have the "Impervious to sword/hammer" checkbox checked off.

Re: Smashing Deadrocks with the Hammer
Zeldix magic will allow sprite property edits? I can kill deadrocks with the unused damage class that can also destroy peg switches and small blade traps. I used the Cane of Somaria to damage them with the block because the projectile could make the game unwinnable if you use that damage class (I recall it was 0E maybe?)

That is what I was asking. You mentioned that Zeldix magic has the sprite damage checklists

Why don't you get off your butt and figure it out yourself? This site isn't your personal place to ask every question that pops into your head. Why should I bother answering your questions when you put zero effort into it yourself?

To make it as short and kind as possible, this really is not happening. At least not without some serious ASM. You asked this for Beamos as well. Try to understand that some sprites were programed to be invincible (can not be defeated), and also try to accept this simple fact.Smashing dead rocks with the hammer.
Reprograming entire sprites (either modifying old ones or actually making brand new ones) is usually not in the scope of (casual) romhacking, unless you actually have a serious programer on your team. Plus: let's say you actually do this. What benefit is it to the gameplay if those rocks or Beamos can be defeated? The gameplay is identical. It only makes an easy game even easier.

Locking this thread. I suggesting locking every new threads by wizzrobemaster that shows he has put no effort into answering his own question. Wizzrobemaster has shown no effort into learning ASM so why bothering answering any ASM question. All these questions are being used for a hack that's basically the same as the original but only with minor tweaks.
