Mega Man X2 MSU-1 2019 Alt Version (Completed)

Just finished making a new MSU-1 pcm pack, as complete as it could be with volume levels and looping points carefully adjusted.

The tracks mostly consists of Breis renditions which has a wider arrange of instruments, with just as big of a focus on guitar as on the brass instruments and synths.
Making it feel closer to what an official Capcom release could sound like as opposed to straight up guitar covers.

That said with the remaining missing songs he doesn't cover this pack uses Krzysztof Słowikowski's cover versions, like the level select theme or Wheel Gator's theme.
Sigma Stage 1 can be heard in the video and uses Stone McKnuckle's rendition of the theme. The main boss fight music is from the official Mega Man Legacy collection CD.
With the intro theme I mixed in a few sounds from the original SNES game, like the guitars syncing with the real guitar at parts for a more authentic sound.

Some very minor repetitive themes ( like the "demo" theme ) were replaced by other tracks that fit the overall feel of the game.

The goal when looking for tracks was to have it feel authentic basically.

Its a good week to be a Mega Man fan, two new PCM tracks this week! I love this PCM set a lot because it gives it stays true to the original feel of the game and just elevates it. I also love the new one Krzysztof Słowikowski I did this week because I can it is simply amazing music. I am going to have both on my SD card and I am excited to play both every now and then. Mega Man X 1-3 is my go to stress reliever and I like the idea of having more than one option because I play these 3 games several times a year.

For sure! Didn't know about you making another pack, the default old one was the only one I found. Happy we found tracks in different directions as well making both sets worth a go. Megaman games are definitely comfort food games to me.

So for best option for uploading the tracks, if you are asking how to upload for download, right click the folder and you should find an option to compress it into a zip file. You can upload a file onto google drive for free, once uploaded, you can click on download options and make a shareable link, then repost the link.
If you were wonder where the best option to upload and share the link, just on the comment section of of msu-1 mega man x2 database, Conn will add it to the main post.

I am a bit confused... what was the second set?
I remember only the Krzysztof Slowikowski 2019 Remastered Version by JUD6MENT being released this week. Or do you mean this announced set by R1ggles now here?

Oh dang. I dont know what is up with X2 but the tracks get flagged and taken down more than any other game. It is so annoying. I do not have a back up of these tracks. Hopefully the original author does or sometimes Conn keeps backups. So far mediafire has been working for me to not have the tracks taken down.

I believe you are right. I just assumed we were using the link at the top for the data base but i guess we have switched it out. Thank you for clarifying Conn

With all the pcm sets I too loose overview. The host looks like pevs, so he probably took care in wise prospect.
We had a similar issue, I think it was terranigma, where another user also wanted to dl a link from the dev section. I'd recommend everyone to look in the database first

Sorry to bring this old thread back up.
Every time I fight against zero and defeat him.
The battle music still plays while the original dr.light music plays ?
Can anyone else verify that and have that fixed ?
Also there is some other issue with sigma's final stage.

The music should play the intro music not a x hunter stage music.

Since nobody posted an issue with MMX2 since the last update, I guess you are using an old version. Be sure to have the latest version
