Superskuj's Introduction:

Hi everyone =]

It's time to introduce a new romhacking project!

This will be a zelda3 romhack combining a classic zelda themed world with a technologically advanced counterpart.

The “Present World” and “Past World” replace the light and dark world, making time travel a central theme to the game.

The player character is a laboratory assistant who, upon waking up and going to work, finds that his boss, “The Scientist,” has fallen victim to a rebellion of his own robots; who have become sentient and mysteriously motivated to cause mayhem.

The Present World is the home of The Player. Technology is prevalent in this world, with a steampunk influence.

The Past World is thematically similar to a traditional Zelda setting. Magic, high fantasy and medieval themes prevail.

The Future World is a special location where The Player receives an item which allows him/her to travel freely between The Past and The Present. This item is tentatively named the Z.E.L.D.A. aka the “Zero Energy Linked Dimensions Actuator”


The current team is as follows:
Superskuj - Project Management, Dungeon Design, Minor ASM
Zarby89 - New Sprites (graphics and code), Misc. ASM
Karkat and Kan - Advanced ASM
SePH - Overworlds and Art Design

Just wanted to ask: are you using the 2 layer method, like in Conker and thus only small squared areas. Or are using the one layer (should be, since the project metioned 2 worlds) and can thus build a big-square areas. I hope you go for the latter method.
