data still exist on github, but i'm pretty sure no one will continue it, the problem is the code is getting bigger and bigger and when you spend 2 hours looking for a code your writed 2 months ago and you don't even recognize because of how bad it is that's not good...

the new one will be much better it will be splitted in 2 main editor Overworld Editor, Dungeon Editor, it not like it gonna be complicated to use or anything just different those tool are gonna be added in the main zscream program so you'll be able to open them from there

that's the old one (do not check  the last commit i've overwritted it by mistake)

This is really awesome, is this just for Zelda hacks, or can other roms use this program, I wento to your gethub and clicked the readme.md file but all it has is the title, That is why I am asking and also because I am noob. Great Job, Its looking great Smile

Haha yeah i should probably write a readme file :p , this is only for zelda alttp you will be able to load JP1.0 and US version headered or not, and you'll be able to patch a rom with the exported data, so you could technically do a hack on the US load it and then export it on a JP rom to have your hack on the JP version Smile

but for now i am focusing on the US version and everything should be kinda compatible with HM so you won't lose your progress if you are already working on a rom hack with HM

lol No big deal dude, I was just letting you know why I ask what I did. Honstly your doing a great job, I like the pics you have posted so far, It looks like and I am being honest here like the big N themself made the program, It looks that professional. :-D

I compiled the code, but whenever I want to save or patch the rom, I get unhandled exception. Can you provide a working old editor in a zip file and share it as a release on Github. I just want to experiment with a working editor while I wait for the newer editor Smile Thank you so much, fantastic work!

Welp that's because it unfinished it doesn't even works on US version it can load them but can't save, i was working on it to make it work on the randomizer that was my main goal, so it only working with randomizer rom unfortunately Sad

Well, Thak you atenzor2 for compileing the source code for this awesome program, and I am sorry if I had caused this because I said good job to Zarby89 and not to you. My bad, I honstly did not know you had helped in it. I hope you can accept my apology atenzor2. And to you Zaby89 I am sorry if I had caused this riff and I hope it does not affect the develoment of the program.

you can see the tiles you have selected and when you move to another map the preview gfx adapt to the other map gfx so you can see if you have a compatible blocksets loaded Razz

Project is not dead don't worry Very Happy i just started over and decided to take my time instead of rushing everything in and end up with something and is hardly modifiable like HM Razz

I saw it at github and just wanted to know how the stand is.

It looks great and probably 1000 times better too

for all they want to try out this stuff install Visual Studio Community 2017
from Microsoft. There you can add the folder from GitHub and try out what
the Master have done Very Happy

The PalettViewerMap and the Overworld Editing Tool what you have
shown us i cant find or cant start it - dont know how xD

PS. maybe some files are missing, get some file errors...
but only by one of the two projects...
