Oh wow, how many versions do we have? Thanks for the info, I adjusted the readme accordingly

Ah! A new update! Thanks, Conn. In first, I'll verify by playing from start to finish if it's working perfectly fine

Horrible bug but easy to fix.
Clear browser history,
Redownload and re-apply:
http://bszelda.zeldalegends.net/stuff/Con/smw2_msu1_patch.zip
(change date for the patch is 18th October, if your download shows 17th october, it is the old one and you didn't clear browser history).
Edit:
It crashed at the end of 1.7 so I fexed it another time. Redownload if you have already before this edit.

In the 1.1 version. Is it possible to fix these pink squares appearing when we're touching a Fuzzy, please?

Ah by the way. Is it also possible to make sure this Anti-Region-Lock patch works perfectly in MSU-1, please? It's to prevent original slowdowns of the PAL version by playing to NTSC format.
I tested other Anti-Region-Lock patches for other games into MSU-1 and there's not problem

No it isn't, since it is not related to msu1. Try vanilla us version (no patch applied), happens there as well. Also, it only happens in snes9x and not bsnes. In the 1.1 version. Is it possible to fix these pink squares appearing when we're touching a Fuzzy, please?
Report this bug to the snes9x dev team:
https://github.com/snes9xgit/snes9x
I checked it and it does not at all interfere with my msu1 patch, I also applied it and it runs on 60 fps. Please, why do ask me such things before trying yourself? I am not the oracle of delphi and need to test things out tooAh by the way. Is it also possible to make sure this Anti-Region-Lock patch works perfectly in MSU-1, please? Oh nothing sorry.

Oh, please. Is it possible to fix an issue? When I want go to this secret passage with a spring ball... (On that screenshot)

...the game crashes sometimes.

mh, I tried at least 30 times with a savestate and snes9x 1.60... no crash. Can you confirm this bug using snes9x (and if yes, what are your steps so I can reproduce)?

Conn. By testing US versions (1.0 & 1.1) into MSU-1 on any Snes9x & bsnes emulators (PS Classic & PC), you'll seen that it do the same thing. I tested these.

Tried it on BSNES and it crashed on the first try for me, unfortunately. Just a black screen. US 1.1 patch. Haven't tried 1.0 yet.

ok, though I couldn't completely reproduce the crash, here's a new version to try:
http://bszelda.zeldalegends.net/stuff/Con/smw2_msu1_patch.zip
as always, clear browser history. Patch date should be 20th october.

Relikk reported no crash and the code is similar to the first version, so there's hardly anything more I can do.
Be sure you have a fresh rom patched.
Don't use freeze savestates, but you can use srm data.
Anybody else can test as well?

Oh. It's working with one of two PAL 1.0 versions. Rev 1 or h1C.

Yes, I test the PAL 1.0 version but I think I know the problem, after to have touched a Fuzzy in the first section and go to the secret passage in the section, the rom not working anymore.
Or I think it's the save file .srm.
Or I think it's the save file .srm.

I know the underlying problem. The versions do not differ in the code, so if one version crashes it is sheer luck if another version works. Since it again crashes in some testings (at least I assume this happens if you didn't make a setup mistake), with some luck I fixed it now in all versions.
The problem: the apu needs to run before you can mute it. You noticed the spc play at the start, I fixed it and therefore it crashed. Now I used another check and cross fingers that it works for all versions now:
Again, clear browser history and download v23:

Alright! No more issues in the 1-7 level by testing it in the PAL 1.1 version!
Thank you very much, Conn!
Well. I'll continue the game to verify in other levels if there's other issues or not and if there's not issues anymore, I'll add two new covers of Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island
