It's MSU-MD so the header probably needs to be edited to MEGASD.

You'll need a hex editor to open your patched ROM with.
Change where it says "GENESIS" to "MEGASD". There'll be an "S" remaining from "GENESIS", just blank it out using your spacebar. Then save it.

So, I looked at it and the new patch has the "alt control" and "SRAM" patches built in. Those patches don't work with the MSU-MD patch with the first iteration of the "revised" patch, which is why I didn't include them. I did try the new patch with the MSU-MD patch just to see and got the same effect.
