Trust me or not but the bat flying between the "mansion" painting and the chain is purely coincidental Razz

I didn't made it like that, it just happened to turn out like that and I found it so perfect that I left it that way. Once the painting is inserted I'll make it so that the bat appears to come from the top of the mansion (in the painting) and go behind the chain to finally smash the ground Wink

Theoratically speaking there won't be any more *public* demos until release. If you really wanted to play it, I'd suggest you wait a bit more until I finish at least the dungeons, when that happens there's going to have content to play at least, I'm probably going to start a beta test in here first Razz

Those boss battles look really awesome, I love the arena for ganon's fight

Thanks! And nah, those eye boss graphics were taken from some game while the wind waker ganon one is a custom sprite by someone else Wink

I only edited them a bit to make them fit into Alttp lol

It is noted that there will have a different sprite loaded for the second aghanim boss fight so expect Draegor from PW to make a comeback aswell!

Here's my latest sprite inserted into the game!



This one is partially edited by myself out of the original "Blind" graphics in Alttp and a cape of a "Phantom Ganon"  custom sprite. Then made a background that works well with the fight Wink

How will areas like this be entered? I don't seem to see any walls. The idea is real original and it's neat to be fighting dark link though I like it.

You will either drop there by a hole like in Phantom Link's case or typical entrances. Most dungeons aren't finished yet but by the time they are the bosses may very well be all changed into other shapes already Razz

I haven't finished most boss rooms so nothing you see is ever final lol  ...but it's a start!

One more boss added in game (yeah getting the hang of it now)... editing palettes to make them fit is even easier then I thought. This one took me more time then usual as I had to downsize it and reduce it's number of palettes... then rework the eye part a little to get something resulting in that:



Edit: one more Very Happy

this one is only missing replacement for the shell!



Edit2: Here's a better version already! I've tweaked the fight and moved the invisible shell sprite towards the bottom of the screen (the boss hidden blind point Wink) and added a tile on bg2 (stars) instead of the traditional shell object. The best thing about this is that any tile on bg2 near that shell sprite behave as if it was the shell itself (vibrates)!

My psp 3000 was collecting dust... after three years untouching it, I've turned it on, added the latest CFW and some emulators to it Razz

Tried my latest hack version if it works and it does!

Title screen is only missing one pixel (compared to pw where it was a lot of them)



Sorry for the video quality and my bad english accent! First time I ever record anything with my laptop webcam lol (took the idea from erockbrox's video Wink)

If I ever upload another psp video ever again, I'll try using remotejoy instead to record a better screen then that..

I might remove the dash hack by Conn as it turns bosses into dummies Razz

I've started finishing the rift overworld area and will add the final graphics in the coming weeks. Since I've just figured out that the overworld uses other general colors for the dark world and death mountain, I'll also finally be able to insert my rift middle part which uses 12 colors!

The trick to make it appear as in the bottom right part is to use the two layers on overworlds hack and use the 2nd world to complete the picture Smile

I had lost hope of ever including that galaxy center in the hack long ago, but I'll finally be able to add it along with my paintings in full colors glory.

Edit: Just re-found my old workspaces for the rift area once again Smile

I have everything I need to complete it now!

really impressive!
I've noticed 2 things that could be improved while playing with v4119:
(1) the random and special treasure dig up hack isn't yet part of your game. I hope you see a way to insert it after you managed to regain the shovel gfx and hide some heart container pieces. I know that there are few digable areas but maybe you can make the complete wasteland digable (along with some parts of other areas like modern city or so to also be able to dig up random treasures).
(2) the pegasus boot direction hack will stop when you change screens on the overworlds (strange since you won't stop when running in ALTTP and get in lost woods where also a mosaic transition occurs). Edit: found out that $5d gets zero due to a non-native code at 11/a071 (snes 23/a071). Therefore you stop at screen transition.

I will fix this along with the code check of the morning star things as soon I got the latest version (you can keep working on your progress while I look over it; I will send you a patch when I'm done) Smile

1) Yeah I tried applying the random treasure patch sometime ago but had trouble making it work! (then simply forgot about it overtime)

2) I noticed that but didn't knew the running would still work after transitions.

Hadn't had much zelda 3 hacking time this week since I did much much overtime at my job, but I'll probably be able to process your request during my weekend (starting monday!)

ah I see... You can just patch your latest rom with v5 along with the fix  patches for unlimited blocks and icerod and send it to me.
I will then (1) check the code for morning star, (2) fix the boot transition, (3) check the random treasures hack. I'll return a fix ips back to you afterwards, so you can in the meanwhile progress with your own work (the address you work with are unaffected by the addresses I work with, so this isn't a problem) Wink

What for troubles did you encounter with the random treasures hack?

^ keep an eye out SePH in case you see any fish flopping around on land so that you can trow them into the water for a chest! (in reference to your fish puzzle)

The painting won't be usable per say but once you beat Ocarina of Time's Ganon (agahnim2), a batcave event will happen there and will lead you to the final battle. The painting itself was taken from Ocarina of Time Phantom Ganon battle!

wow, what a great talent you have pixeling all that o_O only thing I find to add in the painting is a moonlight in the background at the top of the hill (making the sky brighter).
