Zelda 3 Sprite Editor

Hi everyone I've made a small sprite stats and properties editor, similar to hyrule add-ons but with a few more features. It's still a work in progress but it's at a point where it's stable enough that I'm comfortable sharing it.

This should work with a headered or headerless U.S. version or JP1.0 ROM.

Some of them are really straightforward, and some of them don't make much sense but are still fun to play with.

Also a quick intro to that wiki: I don't really know how to organize a wiki so I've been adding random pages and filling in information with the intention of figuring out how to organize it later. I was also waiting until it was a little more filled-in/organized before sharing it here but I figure why not now! Maybe I'll make a proper post for it on this forum soon-ish.

Anyway I'll be happy to hear any feedback or questions here. Very Happy

Edit 1: Added compatibility for headered and headerless ROMs, added a small readme to the download.

This is awesome, I've been searching for something like this! Smile
Though I'm not yet able to use it, cause if I try to load a ROM (already in progress or clean), I get an Invalid Rom error. Any Idea what I'm doing wrong?

Oh I should have mentioned, and I'll add it to the first post since there's no readme, it has to be a headerless rom. I'll try to fix that so it's compatible with headered or headerless soon.

I noticed that the options used do not apply to enemies that cannot be killed.  For example, when I remove the invulnerability from Beamos, bumping into it causes it to disappear. One thing I have noticed, however, is that the "piercing" damage class will work on the indestructible sprites if you remove their invulnerability, but the sword/hammer immunity still remains.

a wiki that only 3-4 chosen people can edit, with no visible option to register an account?  great. Sob  i'm sure it will not stagnate at all.

adds definitions for:
06B725, Bit 1 (how my Bit 4 made it into MoN's docs but this bit didn't, i do not know.)
06B266, Bit 6

expands on / improves / supplements:
06B266, lower nibble: gives what the *valid* values are
06B53F, Bit 1: adds Coexists with Bees
06B725, Bit 3: gives a couple real-world examples.  the definition in the wiki now is more comprehensive than what i have, but a bit abstract.
06B632, bottom nibble: current description very terse and thus incomplete.

Is it me or are there some sprites not included? Isn't the Somaria block a sprite?  Also what does the OAM feature do?  

I like how the prize pack and damage taken can be edited.  Now there is almost no reason to Hyrule add-ons. I would like to see this program updated however.

One thing that I would like to see added is a special properties. Also, if there was a way that you can affect the item drops from bosses.

Sorry about that, we recently got owned by spam and are having a hard time getting the security improved. I wish I had more info than that but I'm not familiar with the wiki system almost at all. Registration has been open for a couple years now and all the people involved to this point are just how many chose to help until now. I'll talk to whomever is working on it and see why it's closed entirely, cause it definitely shouldn't be.

ah, guess i can't judge, given we've had the Mnrogar's forums closed to new users for ~7 years for the same spambot reason. :/  thanks for looking into it.
