I placed it into the pal folder of the patch file (Original post). If you redownload and it isn't part of it, please clear browser history.

Hi, I'm trying to patch the Spanish rom, but it doesn't work, could you help me and tell me how to do it?
I do it with an sfc version and use lunar ips, in addition to putting the necessary files or so I think with the pcm files, am I doing something wrong?

The best explanation I have is that you patch a rom that has a header. Remove it (google tools on romhacking) and try again. If you run the game without the msu file you should have silence then (it has a hard mute, so you hear only music if msu is present if patched correctly).

Try my tutorial
https://youtu.be/mZCci2s6I9E?feature=shared

Common mistakes are
1) not removing header
2) not using an emulator that is msu-1 compatible (most made in the last 7 years are though). Try using a recent version of snes9x just to test if it is working.
3) you are missing the .msu file
4) files are not named correctly

I cover all of this in my tutorial while providing links for tools to patch, remove header, and listen to pcm files on computer.

thank you very much for responding,
Well, I followed the tutorial and it doesn't work because I can't find a version of Terranigma in Spanish in SMC, it's only in SFC, and in that version the patch doesn't work and it won't let me remove the header because it's supposed to be already removed, when I do it I put it remains silent without the .msu file, but even if I rename it, everything still doesn't work and I have tried it in bsnes 070 and snes gx 1.60 and nothing, can you help me?

I was able to get this successfully running in RetroArch with the Snes9x core. I used the Terranigma (Spain).sfc rom. I then patched it with the German version of the MSU patch (the European one doesn't work). Renamed the rom, msu and audio files to all have the same base name. Then I opened the rom in RetroArch.

I'm happy to know that it worked for you now.

I was just curious because I recently lost my modified rom to an careless rom folder curation process, so I just reapplied my patch and it worked flawlessly (I just checked it with snes9x 1.62).

Did you check CRC & SHA-1 of the base (untouched) rom before patching?.
ROM CRC32    00E61534
ROM SHA-1    1E1A85CF28BCB69CB34FC71F48347279D7CFEA7E

I always have theses issues when rom CRC, SHA1 and header status are not properly specified in hack's posts. If your SHA1 doesn't match is either wrong (dirty) rom or header present/not present.

Otherwise than that, JUD6MENT advice was so wonderful and complete that it should be pinned a the top of every patch post. Archery
