That 60fps lends to integrate even better songs that keeps the sensation of speed.

I'm in a search of songs/remixes to convert it into pcm's, but some of this songs haven't separated its channels, and appears mixed with sounds, so, is not a easy task, but i'm on it.

Whatever happened to Kurrono's PCM tracks? Sounds like a couple may have been used in the F-Zero X Music Pack that you provided.

Nope.. only the mute cities.. all 3 have different songs
Death field 1 and 2
White land 1 and 2
Port town 1 and 2
And Grand Canyon 1 and 2..that's it..
Cause it uses Conns optional patch..
Plus I did the practice mode to have all tracks with msu1 on all tracks
I havent upload that yet...

Oh by Sunday I may release some new patches.. I gotta prepare.my new drives for that...later guys

(I noticed with "Wild Guns" snes, the author thought it was important to keep the sound effects louder then then sound track? ... I kinda agree with that, since, the original games seems that way, but, I don't have a problem if the sound effects are largely lower then the sound tracks in f-zero)

@psalmsamuel I agree with you on this as well. The volume is fine as it is now. As for F-Zero, I hardly play it to make a honest opinion of it. There was a batch file script to assist with adjusting the volume for this reason for the Wild Guns game. I remember someone having an issue with the volume level (not to their liking). We try to please when it is within reason. I trust Relikk's volume adjustments, the guy is an audio professional.

I believe most of the "normalizing" issues stem from emu versus sd2nes. The sd2snes revF boards and below (non-modded) still have audio volume issues. I was not a big fan of the sd2snes software audio boost option implementation. I installed the Borti hardware mod for this reason on my revF.

("PGO" version of lr-snes9x by griever ... few months ago, just about fixed the last remaining hiccup issues with msu-1, I think around the time of the donkey kong 2 revision, can't be to sure ... for the raspberry pi, or other, its not that ugly i use it)

(PSP portable, speaking of which, had a similar Pandora battery mod, originally, you just had to pop off a chip to increase the volume ... ... ... then it was corrected to add a wire and remove a wire)

(Guess work, there was a physical mod like the one above for the "sd2snes" that increases the volume, for one of those portable pc devices like the raspberry pi, to increase the volume on the mic inputs, maybe, very, close to the same release date of the sd2snes mod)

Optimization Issue, thats what the PGO build of lr-snes addressed, same like, for the sd2snes software boost.

See, if I were a super fan, I'd only follow your example, for the setup but I wouldn't enjoy it on purpose. Its reasonable that I did that before the Retropie was updated to 3B+, around the same time, of the, henkaku hack transitions to 3.65 fw, (and shortly after that the ps4 controller added to the nintendo switch support)

I just wouldn't enjoy it anyway enough, given the snes controller original , comfort issue, but, I agree with the mod, hardware mod, because only, I wouldn't enjoy the product so its worth the risk, of abandonment, not with warranty but with waiting for proper fix, or cart updates(s)

I am not much of a superfan myself, I just enjoy making MSU-1 patches and PCMs from time to time (and some occasional retro gaming too).

The sd2snes was a gift from Kurrono. It proved useful for me for PCM development, I can find a reasonable volume level that fits both emus and real hardware (well, to the best of my ability).

In the past, it was a real nightmare adjusting the volume levels for both. I will still help out people that do not know how to do this though (Wild Guns and Street Fighter Alpha 2 are examples of this). I know not everyone is comfortable modding their equipment so I see making volume adjusting batch files happening every once in a while.

I agree, to each their own. Find what format suits you and go with it, nothing wrong with that. Some methods to play retro are more costly than others. It is always good to have options that fit everyone's tastes.

I also play with emulation on various hardware platforms as well (ie, PS3, PSP, MacMini, Wii, etc). It is fun tinkering with different methods and the challenges they bring (ie, low volume, bugs, etc). This aside, Happy Holidays and have an outstanding New Year.

I followed your suggestion and edited the "Wild Guns Normalizer Pack", so just extract the contents into the Kurrono Release and then double click the batch file, haven't tested yet, on the game, but I tested and it does lower the volume of the files it produces. (Kurrono's Volume is too Loud for the retropie 3B+ on the lr-snes9x for retroarch emulator, the only one that plays msu-1 on retroarch) (using modified PGO release, the good one).

I guess the loop points for F-Zero are set from the Rom itself, not tagged in the audio files, I don't know the points, and there not released with .json file in Kurrono pack, so far the volume is lowered, have to see later how it plays in game, but i'm sure it plays fine?

It hasn't been "normalized" and some of the tracks will just shriek/click very loud, usually, actually, I haven't see that in any releases until recently.   The rest of everything is just usually fixed by going through the set up (using lower resolution at launch, checking sound drivers options, and using PGO release for retropie)

Just edit the pack above for that, until someone makes a better fix, or I guess this fix is it for now,  Merry Christmas, Cheers!

EDIT (Loop Point (s))

the loop point is not carried over in "foobar2000", the workaround I've read about talks about the loop point saved in the file's header, in hex editor, (wasn't identified in some software in .wav format) will make a note when I come back to this, in few hours, some errans!

EDIT (It worked, nabbing a portion of the hex code, using hex editor to get the loop information from the header (beginning of file)

I took the original .pcm file from "kurrono"'s release, and the modified .pcm from the setup (modified from "wild guns"), took a portion of hex code and added, this fixed "Track 14" ................ I'm gona take a short cut and try to do same method for all files, then, share it! (should all work? ) (went from a header size of 4000 bytes i think, to 10021, the header information is contained somewhere in that margin, probably before 4000 bytes, but, so far so good) ... (everything checkout (working, the loop points) but file 6 broke (back clipping noise near the loop point, loop point works though) using the swap in header, must of cut into the file, back to around 4000 bytes)

EDITING (fixed with 120 Bytes as header from start of file, hex editor swap, file 6, was only issue)

its not complicated, after the files were turned into .pcm, you can see from the hex editor how i took 120bytes from same number track, from kurrono original release to the modified files ..... fixed the loop point missing in "foobar2000" playback, should be fixed in the snes too ............. last thing to do is to check on the retropie 3B+, for reduced audio without clicks. Finally Fixed, thanks, big help! (the recent release of starfox too, later, but I consider this an example for noobs, wouldn't want to litter the pages with hack fixes)
