There are still some bugs and problems, especially regarding msu1, but I am pretty sure this will get solved in future Very Happy

Qwertymodo, Ikari_01 and Relikk already test and work hard on it in the background

Here's how to set Final Fantasy Adventure up on sd2snes with msu1 (for now it only works with ffa).

This is a preliminary patch until the problems with getting it done without needing to patch the bios is solved.

So now you are telling me that I the PRO version can emulate the super game boy via FPGA? So I don't have to own an actual super game boy.

Funny because I bought a super game boy and an everdrive just so I can play all those old game boy games.

Also the classic can play it. And you have msu support at least for FFA and LADX Wink

And yes, now you have 2 consoles capable of SGB Razz

What are "CAW Bosses"?
What's up with Alleyway pausing and sticking left?
Link's Awakening MSU1 still pending?
Can you elaborate on the MSU bit Classic vs Pro difference?

My apologies, I thought you were responsible for the sgb01 github post that you linked. Most of my questions were in response to the release notes from that github page.

As for Alleyway, this is an original Game Boy game that Nintendo advertised specifically with the SGB with a default color scheme. This is a Breakout style game; however, with the sd2snes firmware, I am experiencing what appears to be a defect in which the game auto pauses upon loading the level and the bumper bar is fixed to the left of the screen. Perhaps others may be able to reproduce this problem to confirm the defect and/or reply to my previous questions regarding the contents of your github link.

Ah, thanks for clearing that up. No, I just forward infos in this thread. The author of the sgb code is still anonymous. However the new git allows you to ask your questions and issues to him.

I can only update the news for LADX, where I am in contact with qwertymodo. It's all technically working well but the problem is the nmi where he only has 32cycles to stuff the msu code into (check track change, volume, msu busy). If it gets extented there are graphical glitches. Since he wants an optimized release, this takes some more time. But I think we can expect the release during this week Wink

I might have solved the riddle with "CAW bosses" as mentioned in the SGB01 change log...

My prediction is "Contra: The Alien Wars (Game Boy)" boss battles are fixed. Any other guesses?

Been following the issues discussions so far only reports of issues with Alleyway (possibly SNES CPU related), Bomberman Collection, Bomberman Quest, Megaman V (workaround available), Mortal Kombat, and Prehistoric Man.
