I've removed the link to the download as it contained a ROM. Only link to the patch and audio files. Please, do not post links to ROMs on the forum. Feel free to edit your original post when there are alternate links provided.

Okay, I've converted the game ROMS to the patches.

I am only confused by the musical accompaniment. I compiled a universal disk image (CUE/BIN) that works for all emulators, but some of the original tracks are duplicated. Who will have time - please double-check that the soundtrack at all levels corresponds to the original game.

Exactly, that included cue file is a mess.
I wish the game had a sound test menu but it doesn't seem like it.
[edit]
It does but it's hidden.

I ripped and replaced the tracks from the PlayStation version because I'm very picky when it comes to audio quality.
Lossy audio like mp3 and ogg is a big no-no for me. Earthworm Jim 2 (Mode 1) 1f604

Dupes
Track 06-14-15 = Lorenzen's Soil
Track 10-13-16 = Bonus
Track 11-12 = the flyin' king
Hmm, what to get rid of...

It's cue/wav (lossless).
No duplicate files but duplicate entries in the cue until I, or someone else, figure out which tracks need to go.

It works fine as is in Genesis Plus GX with cue/wav, there's no need to make a bloated bin/cue with dupe tracks.

Can this be played on a Mega SD?

It should if you edit the header at 0x100 to "SEGA MEGASD".
Any hex editor will do.

Original "SEGA GENESIS" header:
53 45 47 41 20 47 45 4E 45 53 49 53 20 20 20 20

Edit that to:
53 45 47 41 20 4D 45 47 41 53 44 20 20 20 20 20
