Especially after the fantastic warning sign that was Pokémon Uranium and AM2R that Nintendo is a big enemy of fan creators.

In fairness though, Nintendo does not want their IP pirated. What they do not realize is that it could draw attention into making a title that is better than what the mans have done. Look at Super Mario Maker. Instead of wasting so much energy to stop hack projects (which also makes Nintendo look bad among many fans), find ways to compete against them instead. It really seems Nintendo is stuck in the 1990's.
