@ToAll One thing I noticed in Chief Wigwam's stage is that the voice dialogue of him and his sister is really low (after defeating him). See this MSU patch version link. This is also present in the original ROM. It has nothing to do with the MSU patch. See the unpatched version link.

I am just mentioning this before any one is thinking of reporting this as a MSU bug. Maybe the PCM volume can be brought down a bit to hear this dialogue better. Or I could just mute the audio after you defeat the boss. I prefer the music playing until the boss stage clear plays. I can change it though, I'm not that picky.

It seems lower because it's panned to one channel instead of being central. Weird that they did that.

Best thing to do would be to bring the level down on the PCM as Pev suggested. I'll take a look later.

@Relikk If lowering the volume does not yield good results. Maybe we can do a soft fade to a lower volume during this dialogue sequence. I can figure out how to code the volume change using MSU.

Yup, I think arcade version is the same too with the “Asta La Bye Bye”. Konami lazy port.

I stand corrected, the arcade don’t even have subtitles, lol. I thought it had them.

Alright... I reduced the volume as much as I'm willing to on the Chief Wigwam PCM. I raised the volume a bit on the intro, and cleaned up the Konami logo PCM.

Pev more or less renounced on a bml on his patches, since sd2snes, snes9x and bsnes all won't need a bml/xml or other additional files, so he stopped supporting higan. I sometimes still do a bml but also forget it from time to time. It's unfortunately also quite complex to set up higan for msu use in comparison to the other emus.
Pev is also retired in the meanwhile, so you could either make your own bml or use bsnes/snes9x.

bsnes won't need a bml/xml? But if i load the .sfc game with bsnes core only the standard music is working, not the msu music.

Use the latest version:
http://www.emucr.com/2018/01/bsnes-plus-git-20180117.html

I do not have your troubles with SMK. I'll currently make a merged patch, where you don't have the header remove add stuff anymore. I'll upload soon.

I use retroarch with the bsnes_balanced_libretro.dll core. Maybe i should test a other core.

For super mario kart you may need the dsp1b.bin:

Thanks, i found this too, to make mario kart work. But with your dsp1b.bin loads the hacks. Smile I found that the bsnes_cplusplus98_libretro.dll loads the .sfc games without .bml files. But Spongebob or hyperkart have no music in the racing levels. Only in Menue.

As said, I updated your patches to a much more user-friendly level:
https://www.zeldix.net/t1459-hyper-street-kart-super-spongebob-kart-msu-1
See if you get it work in normal bsnes, if it works (I assume since I tested), but do not in libretto, the problem is in this core, where I am unable to help (you need to contact the libretto author then).

BML is only needed for higan, you only need the xml (in case the libretto isn't updated to the xml free version yet)
