Very nice, just a personal remark, I find the volume a bit high on the title screen, when you press start the voice is a bit hidden behind the music. I try it with the english translation without problem so far.

This is my first time seeing/hearing it in action, so I can make any necessary adjustments now.
@Cubear: I've put a track map in the OP with track looping information that needs to be changed in the patch.
Is it just me or does this not boot with BSNES Plus?

i do my debugging in BSNES Plus 5.88 and it boots and runs fine? still, if you're having an issue it should be looked into. are you running it with or without the translation patch? are you using the same version of bsnes plus?
correcting the noloops now, will upload fixed version momentarily

You can disregard that issue, sorry. Something very odd was happening with my BSNES. It worked sporadically, and the video wasn't being scaled correctly. I deleted the config and set everything up again and it's fine.

Noticed that after killing the main stage boss the music fades out and then comes back in just before "Tea Time". This doesn't occur on the stock ROM.

Patch seems still the 1.1, files are dated from the 26/07 ?Cubear wrote:Fixed.
Beside that thanks for the really good work

Another oddity I've come across is the fade time for pausing. It's much longer than the stock ROM, which in turn affects the fade in time when unpausing and causing it to be longer than it should be.
MSU1 patch fade length seems to be about 4-5 seconds. Stock ROM fade is about 2 seconds.

Changed my wraparound detection and increased fade speeds.
Also, confirmed that the link matches my uploaded version this time.

The latest patch introduces more issues, I'm afraid. The music comes back in after fading out with the mini bosses now as well, and the same issue still happens with the main stage boss.

rewrote the fade code to be much more robust in how it handles varied situations.
doubled fade calls (like the game does) should no longer restart a fade.
calling a fade up while the game is fading down now fades up from the current volume instead of #$00.
the inverse is also true.

minor update to detect msu1 chip before running code.
