There actually was not ever a patch for this hack unfortunately. GameMakr24 only really intended it to be released when it was fully complete but that never happened.

There never was a patch for this hack released. The author was pretty clear that he would not even release a beta to the public until the game would be fully finished. This hack is a fine example that people sometimes don't know when to quit. Luckily the author finally pulled the plug after a decade and a half. If he tells you he's still working on this, don't take the statement seriously.

I did find this, however the patch did nothing

Sad that it didn't finish, seems alot of work and effort went into this.

Forgot about this hack. But remember, this was not done by GameMakr, but by SePH and he was working on this for like a week. He brought some GFX from Quest of Calatia into ALttP (like trees and mushrooms) and finished one house, which is identical to one house in the Calatia hack. Otherwise this rom is completely identical to ALttP. If you patch to the US unheadered rom you can see the gfx hacked trees and that one house and some other gfx edits, the rest is ALttP.

And for your other question, no one will probably pick this up, since GameMakr never released or shared the material. SePH worked from screen shots only. And no one will obviously work on someone elses ideas from scratch.
