So, If I am reading this right, MSU1 like could be used on GB games. If that is true, boy I will be very happy. There is a game I would love to see msu'ed. :-D

Oh man, pokemon "msu1" would seriously be legit, and would not be hard at all to find music for a full album seeing that there is already a ton of full orchestra albums out their. Replying Johto with high quality music is already too much for my brain to handle

Re: Something awesome is maybe coming up...
Thanks, the things however are complicated unfortunately. While the gb differs the trackchange in gb wram, it is hard to transfer this byte to snes. I spent the last 2 days with trying to smuggle it via vram transfer, but this is restricted to the screen (means it messes up tiles when doing so). There is another method (data_snd), but this also has some complicated stuff coming along. I do not know whether I manage. Then there is still qwertymodo, maybe he gets it done
I will try a bit further but don't excpect it happening too soon

Hey Conn, I have found this link that might help you crack this nut, at least I think it will. https://www.chibiakumas.com/z80/Gameboy.php
On this site it talks about MBC1+, Which is Bankswitching on the Rom/Ram to add more. So maybe this could be used to add extra head room for msu code? I hope the info can help you out.

Re: Something awesome is maybe coming up...
For anybody wants to try it out, here's the patch file:
It gives msu1 support for Final Fantasy Adventure, but buggy. So it is a proof that it works but not the final solution (screen flickering and maybe not all track changes are recognized):
