Tales Phantasia was always on my agenda after star Ocean, shadowrun... Well relikk brought it to my attention, Ultima was a c64 game of my childhood, where my neighbor and I played it frequently. So a heartwish

Note that none of these patches underwent a complete playthrough, so I expect a bug rattail. Hopefully not so many fake bugs this time since all are RPG and hard to play there to trigger the bugs. This is also the reason why we decided to release betas since the playtests may take decades

I understand, That is very neat that you and your neighbor enjoined this game together. How many times did you guys beat the game? My cousin and I played some type of game with a mouse in it on the Amiga, sorry for lack of the name ( I cannot remember it at all, long time ago lol ), so I understand childhood awesomeness. Bug rat-tail, oof that suxs, understandingly the worst part of MSU'ed RPG's. I do hope there are not a lot at all for you guys. :-)

Frankly, I cannot remember how (or if) we beat the game. It is complex and it's also no usual RPG... you have to find runes and shrines.

First, thank you very much for developing these MSU-1 patches. I just spotted this the other night, and I am happy that my request from July 2020 came to fruition.

I highly recommend utilizing these lossless audio files for the PCM set. Consider tracks 2-19 for Ultima 6. You can see other Ultima game sections at this site as well:

Special note. Track 16, entitled Character Creation [GS] has a clip error at the 8-second mark. Advise a method for sending an edited audio file, and I will provide it. I made this correction 4 years ago. It's the creation of the PCM files that I would need assistance with.

I see you are utilizing a Roland LAPC-1/ MT32 source, but why MIDI arranged???

Respectfully, the audio tracks at Rabbit's Lair are better than what's presented in the current YouTube sample.

The tracks on Rabbit's Lair are what I used. The YouTube video in the first post is just a placeholder using the original ROM and SPC soundtrack, like it says underneath the video, until someone can record a playthrough or a sample of the MSU1 version. Did you download the patch and audio files to try it out?
