I don't think I'll be able to add the heart containers. I keep running into unexplainable bugs that I can't do anything about...

For example, I can add 4 heart containers to an area. If you walk around the area and make all 4 heart containers show up, then you can collect all 4 heart containers. But if you collect the first one as soon as you see it, the other 3 won't show up. Sometimes this even messes up the hearts showing up in other areas. It's quite strange.

The only thing I can really think of to add them is to make a Chris Houlihan style room with enough heart containers to max you out all in one spot...

That's indeed strange. A workaround would maybe be to place less heart containers, like only 1 each area, and put the rest into chests in houses?

Like give 7 heart containers, one in the start room in chest, with the hint "can you find all 7?"
Imo this treasure hunt is only necessary so that yese explores everything, so place some chests in the houses or so and on the overworked with max 1/area... Not too well hidden - the sense, as said, in my opinion is just to let her find and talk to every person, and not immediately head to the church.

Its amazing, I really like it.

I'm still waiting for the ring. There have been some delays trying to get it, but I am already talking to a local jewelry store to get me the design I want. Thanks for asking. I will keep you update

Any changes you want to make to the Heart Pieces script?

I'll admit that what's there is the result of maybe 30 seconds of thought, it's not based on anything, just me throwing something in as proof-of-concept while I was testing if I could get things working.

sorry for the delay, I have been busy finishing the box with the magnetic levitator that will contain the ring. The result of the game together with the "smart box" is simply wonderful. When I finish everything and make my proposal I will upload a video so you can see the complete result.

If you still have time, I can think of a little script this weekend.

No problem on the delay, we're working on your schedule, not the other way around. Wink

I have plenty of time, and even if I didn't, a quick script update is only like 5-10 minutes work (including the testing afterwards).

I can change the scripts for the Heart Pieces in any way you like, right down to adjusting the placement of the heart graphics or turning each one into a multi-page block of text as long as the King's speech. So feel free to make them anything you want.
