Mortal Kombat Arcade Edition Secrets:
Play as REPTILE: Highlight Scorpion, hold Left+A & press START! Keep the 2 buttons held until any match begins! (Note: You must hold these 2 buttons down every time before another match begins!)
Playing as REPTILE: Press the MODE (SELECT) button or Up+B to switch REPTILE'S Move List!
Play as NOOB SAIBOT: Highlight Sub-Zero, hold Left+A+B+C & press START! Keep the Left arrow & these 4 buttons held until any match begins! (Note: You must hold down the Left arrow and these 4 buttons every time before another match begins!)
Playing as NOOB SAIBOT: Press the MODE (SELECT) button or Up+B to switch NOOB SAIBOT'S Move List!
Fight Ermac: Complete the game without using a Continue! (Note: Ermac is tougher than REPTILE!)

Looks like they released a v1.1 of the Arcade Edition patch that fixes a few things.

Arcade Edition patch has been updated again and can confirm that the MSU-MD and MD+ patches no longer work.

It still works with latest v1.3 Arcade Edition.
Not merged, apply to an already Arcade Edition patched rom.

Both tested and confirmed working earlier today in Genesis GX Plus.

Thanks, Retroplay. I've updated the MD+ link to include the patch for the v1.3 ROM, but kept the original v1-0a patch as well, in case there are any problems. I'll wait a few days and see if void does anything with his MSU-MD patch before changing or adding to that link.

The original patch still works right? Only problem is that the patch tool complains about the checksum?

Yes, it's working well.

They're usually only minor graphical adjustments in Rael G.C.'s version. Should be fine.

I am trying to play this on my retro pie
also im trying to patch im not sure if im doing it correctly.
i try to run the file on retro pie it shows sega logo then kano and raiden in the arcade, after that the screen is black and nothing else. also how can I do a patch?

Heads up, use v1.5 for MSU-MD/MD+ version, v1.6 had a minor change that breaks compatibility.
