You can just patch it on the original US rom of Super Metroid (Unheadered only) and choose a PCM pack by renaming these phazon_msu1-1, phazon_msu1-2 and the same thing for other PCM tracks. Enjoy it

I love the Blake Robinson album, but while playing it I noticed there was a few things I did not like about it in the context of the actual soundtrack while playing the game. Like how Ridley theme, Escape theme, and a few others have some really awkward slowdowns that breaks the immersion of the game. Or how "Upper Maridia - Drifting Sands" track has parts missing completely, or how "Lower Norfair - Ancient Ruins" does not have a strong booming beat like in the original soundtrack.

I decided to make my own PCM tracks where I found a bunch of tracks I felt like was a better fit and I did some editing on the Blake Robinson Symphony tracks that I did like so that the soundtrack sounded more like what I expected in the context of playing the actual game. I recognize that one person already did their own rework of some tracks but mine is still very different because it has a bunch of new tracks entirely for a good portion of the game and I wanted to do my own take on fixing up some tracks to sound like a video game soundtrack. I am very pleased with the finished PCM album and I think this is one of my better ones I have made.

We came up with a solution to add single PCM tracks or small bundle tracks such as these. We added to the official MSU-1 Hacks Database a new category called "PCM Track Swap" where there will be a master list of all single track swap outs.
