* This archive contains three BPS patches...
First one contains the plain vanilla Msu-1 patch
Second one contains Msu-1+Restoration merged patch
Third one contains Msu-1+Restoration+SA-1 merged patch.
** This archive contains a remapped track set. If you use the V7 patch, you must download the PCM set all over again for less trouble. I added some FX sounds to the intro. I included alternate sets. I built this set from what was able to be sourced at the time.

I got it and it works, thank you very much!
What do the "vomitron" pcm files mean?

I assume they're alternatives. You can back up the original file or rename it, then rename the vomitron file to what the original file was and use that instead.
hello! i followed everything correctly but everytime i patch my rom i cant find the msu support file , what can i do? can someone include it in a download link or something? thank u.
MSU support file ?
Do you mean (game name).msu file ?
If so, create an empty txt file, rename the file extension from txt to msu, that's it.

well... i tried it before...it seems that text files dont change extension that easily even if i put .msu in the end it stays the same..i tried to import an .msu file from another game and rename it; but still nothing. im doing something wrong here..any suggestions? thank u in advance.Retroplay wrote:MSU support file ?

Hi guys,
Hope you are all well and safe. I was wondering whether any of you have been able to make the MSU1+Restoration+SA1 patch work on a regular sd2nes? I've tried a few things and haven't been able to make it work, the pcm audio is not picked up for some reason.
Already tried firmware 1.10.3 and 1.11.0b1 to no avail, also renamed the pcm tracks accordingly. The non-SA1 patch works fine though.
I am assuming it should work given that the status section on the sds2snes site states: "Each supported enhancement chip can be used in conjunction with MSU1." and the SA-1 chip is supported. Am I missing something?
Thanks!

Oh well, looks like I finally found an excuse to get a pro hahaha. Thanks for your reply, Relikk!
No, this merged patch was released when SA-1 hack version 1.1 was around. If time permits, I can update the patch for @Retroplay to use in developing a new merged patch. By time permitting, it is based on two things:darthvaderx wrote:Is the SA-1 hack the current version 1.2?
(1) have free time to do this
(2) Vitor did not significantly change his code since v1.1 to affect my code.
If I do not have time or will to do this. I may just post my source code and let someone else handle this. Again, we do appreciate everyone here trying the Zeldix patches. You take care.
@ToAll Ok, seems like Vitor's V1.2 did not affect my code (cross fingers). I went ahead and created a new merged patched set. There are three patches in the archive with detailed installation instructions.
BPS patches in latest archive...
1. Msu-1 patch only
2. Msu-1+Restoration patch
3. Msu-1+Restoration+SA-1 patch
As usual, please test and let me know if anything broke with latest V1.2 SA-1 code.

Is there an error with the way the merged patches are zipped? I can decompress the entire RAR file fine, but no utility I try can successfully unzip the .7z patch files.
7-Zip 23.01
WinRAR 6.24
both extracts the 7z files perfectly well for me.
