@Conn I already reconciled that track in my initial Google Docs track map (it is the Collect, Deliver, and Seal theme for track 5). Some of the tracks turn up between missions you select at different times. I remember hearing track 5 in one of the Stage 3 missions, if my memory serves correct.

Update: I forgot to mention that i timed the Get Ready Theme to play approximately 11 seconds. Any more, it will be cut off.

@Conn The track map was rechecked and it is good (accidentally swapped tracks 7 and 8, now corrected). I believe all the tracks have been accounted for and we are good to go.

Ah... now there's shading light into this. Track b is inside the game (please test with that technique), but I couldn't find it among the 12 themes of that ost youtube.
Is it possible to map the 12 13 themes correctly using that technique, it seems like SV did something wrong (e.g., he mapped  Collect, Deliver, and Seal to 0b instead 05).

@Conn Yeah, I'm still looking for this mysterious $0B track too. I wonder if its an alternate ending? Will find out, unless it is not used by the game. Time to watch some long plays, lol.

@Conn See this LINK. Zophar's Domain lists it as an Unused Song. Apparently, there is an unused jingle as well. I guess we are done then.

Then we are done. Small request, could you correct SV:s list to have the correct loop infos and themes?

There's one small problem left, can you rename:
al3_msu1-x.pcm
into
alien3_msu1-x.pcm
Otherwise the pcm:s are not compatible with the patch.

Also another problem, your level music is way too loud, the sfx are barely noticeable...

Ok, all is fixed, here is the link with all the songs and its volume levels corrected:

I noticed that in the .doc is mentioned an 13 track, so i added an empty track as track nº13.

And two things about the patch. The first one is that the sound entrie of the stage 1 plays too soon... in the game it begins to sound when the text "stage 1 get ready" disappears, and not before, but in the patch the "get ready" music is interrupted, and begins to sound the stage music too early.

And the second one is that the game begins playing "rescue mission" when it should begins with "corridors of fury 161".

I will try to annotate what songs sound now, and what songs it sholud to play.

@Señor Ventura Just a question, is it possible that the tracks are swapped around with different localizations of the game? The tracks played using Conn’s test method matches with Zophars Domain list including YouTube long play videos. Your posted list does not match the verified track map.

As for the music starting to early, if it cannot be fixed by the patch, all we can do is delay the music. Remember with MSU PCMs we can loop back to where the music starts seamlessly.

Yes, the stage intro... it intro fades out but the stage track is introduced before. From the coding side little to nothing I can do without much effort, so better tinker around with some mute at the start of the track like Pev suggested.

I also advise to test your set with the patched rom to verify all is working as it should Wink

Ok... about 2 seconds of silence then? (more or less).

The only problem is that during the "get ready" screen, the music will sound only very little time, and after that would be total silence during 2 or three seconds (or more) until the game strats.

I will try to keep only the half of the song in the "get ready theme", and, instead of adding silence in the music of the stages, i would add the other half of the "get ready" music" inside the music stages, in the beginning.

I hope it works.

@Señor Ventura Add the silence then “bucle” back to the point where the music restarts by hard coding the starting “bucle” point into the PCM using wav2msu like I suggested in the Ninja Gaiden topic. If your having trouble I can fix this track for you.
