IMPORTANT SIDENOTE: There is 3 different MSU-1 patches for Super Mario World that each accomplish slightly different thing. Each set has PCM sets that are designed for that specific patch. Do not mix PCM sets with the wrong patch. For quick links to the other SMW MSU-1 patch pages, follow links below:

Super Mario World MSU-1 Plus Ultra. 130 Tracks Total! :: Comments
Re: Super Mario World MSU-1 Plus Ultra. 130 Tracks Total!
The PCM set download size is 1.79 gb, which I know some people do not like downloading that big file sizes all at once. I do plan to create links to break down the download into 3 different parts so that they are each about 500-600 mb each to download. I will have those links created in about a day or two.
Congrats on finishing the pack. I know it was a lot of work for you to collect and convert this much music.

If anyone comes across a good underground theme let me know, i may want to update a few tracks to this sometime soon as new artists are always making good covers. I could use some good underground theme
amazing work! do you happen to have a track list for this pcm set?
edit - just saw the google doc from the OP, thanks!

hey all,
wanted to thank the folks behind this amazing work! I've modified the pack to use the soundtrack by AQUA MIDI. This assumes you've set the following arguments to false:
!LuigiSFX = !False
!OWMusic = !False
I've fixed the p-switch music, and every level should give you a "hurry" sound effect with faster music. However, boss fight music will not speed up if the time is low
updated link to include pcm music pack and SA-1 patch along with asm patch that removes vocal sfx and overworld music mod:

I understand that this PCM package is only for use with emulators, right?!
Its size exceeds 4.8 GB and, as far as I know, the SD2SNES only works up to 4 GB; Correct me if I'm wrong!

Hey there, thanks for the reply. i dont have original hardware to test on, just emulators. however, the site says it accepts up to 64gd cards for sd2snes and fx pak pro says ~200gb.
I've also updated the link to include the SA-1 Patch and the .asm patch with the vocal sfx and overworld music mod turned off. apply the SA-1 patch to a clean rom first, then use the asm patch on that newly SA-1 patched rom. link again here for reference:

Something to note, it may improve filesize, is I believe I had the Plus Ultra patch do MSU fallback, so missing tracks will default to the original track numbers and still play MSU. if you have any duplicated tracks, this can save you some space.

Thank you and everyone here on the site for these wonderful masterpieces, but regarding the size of the memory cards, I know that up to 1 Terabyte, the SD2SNES/FXPAK PRO accepts them well, but the size of the roms should not exceed 4GB in size , this was already said by "Near/Byuu - the creator of his own" take a look at the links:

Very well observed @Cubear, thank you very much!!!
hey there, i'm playtesting my pcm soundpack, and noticed that when i enter levels with yoshi, the music is silent. is there a second track for when you start a level with yoshi? and getting on/off yoshi results in the bongos where i started with just mario, so i'm guessing there is something wrong thats causing it to fallback to in-game/spc audio?
edit: after testing several different ways, it appears that the SA-1 patch is what's causing on on this particular ultra plus setup. audio doesn't cut out when SA-1 omitted from setup

hey there, i'm still having issues unfortunately. pressing start during a level causes the overworld theme to play. i am using the ultra plus patch
some questions: what method are you using to play the game?
real hardware, emulator, mister?
which rom did you patch in order to play this? if possible, could you submit a checksum of your rom / patched rom, obtained by using this online tool?

ok, in true homebrew fashion, i went back and redid everything from scratch, including attempting to lower the levels of some songs. i found that msu1 fallback doesn't always work (eg, on a custom track for overworld, if that custom track is missing, it should fall back to one of the msu1 tracks 1-8 for the main songs, but it didn't work for every level). so, i went through and made sure each song was plugged into the appropriate custom track, inflating the pcm pack to a bit over 4gb. I also tried to use the normalize tool to normalize everything to -21
So far, SNES9x on windows plays it properly and minisnes (aka snes classic with snes faust core) plays it properly too. i don't own original hardware so I can't test. i've also updated my google drive link with this fixed pack. and, after further testing, SA-1 is incompatible with Ultra Plus MSU-1. Thanks again to everyone.

hey all,
after looking this over, i took it down because of a few reasons:
1) some songs were still loud in some places (my fault, not the creator)
2) i could not get the song speedup to match on some levels if you went underground or changed location within a level that triggered a new song.
instead, i remade the pack for the MSU1+ project instead, so check it out over there.
