The following patches are now included as optional components in the Installer, there's no need to download them separately:
https://mega.nz/#F!PJZg1IRb!kS3ECIgKhAkc-qHWkVGRAg
(apply this after running Dancing Mad's installer)
The Cut Songs Restoration mod seamlessly reintroduces 4 songs that were cut from FFVI in development, and later released in the FFVI Special Tracks Album, without removing any of the existing tracks. Mod created by edale, with help from Insidious661 and mziab.
Ted Woolsey Uncensored Edition by Rodimus Primal
http://www.romhacking.net/hacks/1386
Optional FFVI Music Player by Madsiur
https://mega.nz/#!3UR0nShJ!6V6FlV9kgMGIztJ5oGjS8C1QoojhaOrxtdtqZzP5crM
This is the same as the Music Player included with the Ted Woolsey patch, but fixed to work properly with the MSU patch. Contains patches for both the normal Dancing Mad patch, and one that includes the extra songs from Edale's Cut Songs Restoration patch.
------
If using the MSU patch alongside the Brave New World patch, ONE of these PCM should be added to your PCM set, use whichever version matches the rest of your musical selection best:
The Black Mages (metal): https://mega.nz/file/eEg0RDrb#RFqDE7MXfx6TQV-RTmWnk98I5SY0GWk5mBZKMmqcjFA
Mathew Valente (Synthetic Origins): https://mega.nz/file/2dxmjb7I#GouwzyB53KKnKu6lXq8MytwALu7UPiO7RA1zHAplGsM
------
As of Hotfix 4, The installer will apply the MSU-1 patch to any unmodded version of the game (US 1.0, 1.1, or JP), BUT it will only let you install the optional components on a US1.0 ROM. The Ted Woolsey patch isn't compatible with the 1.1 or JP ROMs; testing is still required to see if the other 2 optional mods are compatible with a 1.1 or JP ROM, but their installation has been disabled for now to be safe.
------
Update 3/16/2020: The fileserver mirrors have been changed, if you have an older version of the installer, please grab a new copy.

Synthetic Origins FFVI PCM set added to the opening post as an optional download:
Added a new version of the extra track for the Brave New World mod to the opening post.
https://mega.nz/file/LQwgAR7Y#nTLVhFyVlJ7JqrZfFY8FDmbPAkInHXNLxwIAmDqKZxo
This version matches the style of the Synthetic Origins set, whereas the other one was done by The Black Mages and is more metal.
Converted at the request of user Gens on the Dancing Mad discord server.

Thanks for this! Truly customizes the experience through so many versions of the best ff OST out there.
I'm pretty new at all of this, but have already used the ff5 msu-1 patch to add pixel remaster music to ff5 rom. Epic.
Couple questions about this patch, I've got all the pixel remaster PCMs but there is no option on the installer to use them. Do I just chose any of the installer's soundtrack options in the installer and then just overwite the PCMs with the Pixel Remaster ones? Seems to have worked so far!
I didn't expect the fan patches/translations to be built in. Must have been hard work.
Also, The Ted Woolsey Uncensored Edition is up to 3.06 ("Final Fantasy VI (TWUE 3.06) + Bug Fixes, Updated Opera, & Add-Ons.ips") while the one in this installer is 2.01. Is there anyway to use the new one as the base for the MSU-1 patch or will this be added? The Opera scene has been updated in 3.06 so timing would need to be confirmed but I assume the rest is the exact same from 2.01
Anyway, excellent work. I bought most of the remastered Vi OSTs over the years, but that Pixel remaster feels the best fit to the game for me. Stoked to try it out!

Before we can update the TWUE patch, we need someone who can spot and hear bugs to go through the whole game, beginning to end, with both the MSU patch and the new TWUE applied, to make sure the updates haven't introduced any new bugs or conflicts from the new things TWUE has done.
I will also mention the MSU patch itself should be getting an update eventually, since we might finally have fading working (again, testing is needed, and I'm pretty burned out on playing FFVI atm).

I can help with testing if you release a beta some time soon. I know the game very well and have done similar testing for other projects. Are there a decent collection of save-states that can be used to broad spectrum test the key parts (like opera, etc) so the Beta might be released to the general audience? If not that's fine, but it will take me some time to go through the whole game end-to-end. A huge effort, but having the definitive edition of a classic, that even its makers cannot top, is worth it. Seems like the last step now that Pixel remaster PCMs are available and TWUE patch is completed.
If/when timing is found off somewhere, I assume a save-state and small report sent to you will suffice or do you prefer testers to make the timing updates themselves? I'd rather send reports as we could screw up your work with too many cooks in the kitchen.
Accordioning the the notes from 2.01 through 3.06, the opera scene alone seems suspect to timing changes, but anything is possible and I will test end-to-end. Assuming I was correct in how to use the Pixel remaster PCMs (straight up copy paste replacement), then I will test with that score.
Let me know if I am off-base with anything.

You may have to go through the posts in #General a bit, but if you go back to posts from around the start of October, you'll find an IPS with the fading fix that needs testing, and around the beginning of November you'll see a post from me listing some key points that need fading testing.
You can ask in the discord for any help on patching order (which is important!) for when you want to setup to test things.
Does anyone have the Pixel Remaster soundtrack for this game? The link is down.
