*joking...
If I do that a lot in my code, I do apologize, but its the only way I can keep my brain in check (sometimes, coding to quickly I forget why something was done a certain way, those extra labels jog my memory). I did get the joke, though (no hard feelings, it was in good taste).
Every now and then, Kurrono asks questions and I have to review my old code to refresh myself in order to provide a proper answer.
Awesome that you are taking care of Enmet's themes
And no, I wasn't referring to your asm:s, which are incredible clean; I referred to mine, where I am always quite sloppy and code that stuff down without any documentation. It was also your inspiring way to code that I try to take care of that some other may read it as well and make even comments from time to time.
Labelling with meaningful names is something I learned in the past, also through looking into your asm:s... and I have really no problems reading your codes, also your labelling system is thorough. Only thing I remember, where I had problems was Gradius, where the code went too complex so I preferred coding it from scratch

Ok, the link to the 'FF' normalized tracks are live. If anyone still wants them lower, let me know.

Don't remind me. Even that code was hard for me to follow, LOL. It was a big mess (my Dracula X attempt was too). I learned my lesson to avoid using RAM as indicators when tracks change whenever possible.
Nice work Pev, however there are 2 small things:
1, for my taste the volume could be still a bit lower (only a tick- but that is just me, you can leave it as it is if you like it more on this level).
2, you unfortunately called the msu files
sma-msu1-x.pcm while I use
sma_msu1-x.pcm,
so it is incompatible with the other files I provide (xml, msu, readme).
I would simply set my files in the patch file to your naming system, but unfortunately also Kurrono's pack uses my system, so it would be better if you'd rename it... sorry, hope you don't mind

Sorry about the file name change. I just forgot to rename it back to your own 'sma_msu1' standard naming scheme. I am uploading the corrected filenames now. It should be there by the time this response is posted.
If more people prefer me to drop the volume level more, I will. It really is not a bother now that I know how to do it all at once for all the files (as oppose to the old one by one method).

Thanks, first post link updated
Hope we can close this project then... how did you rename the files so quick, I usually do this by hand.. Is there a trick or something to make it faster?

I think I mentioned this in a previous thread a while back. There is a program called Bulk Rename Utility. This program allows you to rename multiple files with the same naming scheme at once without affecting other characters of the filename. And the best part, its freeware.

Here's a PCM pack containing the original NES soundtracks. I've stopped and started this project so many times since the hack was released due to the amount of PCM's involved, but since Pev did it for his Ninja Gaiden hack I thought it'd make a nice companion piece.

Hey I am almost done with my PCM tracks for mario allstars, but I found an error that if someone could fix they would be one really awesome person.
Beating mario 3 and entering the final room to see Peach uploads the track PCM-97, which is the Overworld 2 Theme. I believe that it should be uploading track 65 instead, according to the readme track list, that is the Mario 3 rescue Peach and ending theme. I will try to get a save state uploaded soon so that someone can see for themselves, be up in a moment.

Ok, I got a .srm for the final boss and more importantly a save state ready where the wrong track is being uploaded.

you are right it should play $41 instead of $61. Something is wrong here with Level/Overworld flag. I'll check asap. Are the other ending/credits theems correct?
Also what happens at other chimes $41? I think they are played on world ends... are they correct?

Ok, I did a not so elegant solution:
Download v5 (21-Dec-2018) chime ending fix:
http://bszelda.zeldalegends.net/stuff/Con/sma_msu1_patch.zip
What I did: track 61 is never played in world8, so I made a check if $61 is about to play, see whether you are in world 8 and if yes, play $41 instead. Please check.

I have 100 percent all the games but lost world recently, but lost world uses mario 1 soundtrack so i am pretty dang sure that one is ok. Im pretty sure this is the only mistake. Also in mario 3 there is only one time peaches theme plays because the other 7 are the king transformed to normal jingle. In mario one peaches theme is played 8 times but they are all working fine.
Ok, I just tested the end theme and it works, and I also really liked the PCM I made for it too. Now I am done with my Mario All-Star PCM. Going to release it on Christmas with 3 other PCM tracks for different games.
Thanks for testing. Such sleeping bugs can always happen until one tests a patch completely. Looking forward to your release

I listened to hundreds of mario songs, remixes, and orchestras to make this album. I most people will find this one extremely enjoyable from beginning to end.
Please add to the original post, THANK YOU!!!
Merry Christmas Everyone!

Just wanted to let you know @Conn that the patch seems to work on the Japanese version of this game. Now the intro glitched a little bit, but it seems to play like normal. Just wanted to let you know. Have a Great Day :-D
