Doesn't work on bsnes+ (plays spc tracks instead) and the in level music has hiss has pops, but I think this is a snes9x thing (I have heard people reporting the same thing on other games).

Shiryu, is the rom, msu, and xml file named exactly the same? I know its a stupid question, but I just have to ask to make sure. I'll check the IPS/BPS/XML files on my end to ensure all is ok there.

Ok, checked the IPS/BPS/XML files. I used the Bsnes that requires the XML file and the one that does not and both play MSU pcm files correctly. I'm at a loss.

In this case it sounds the setup Siryu made is wrong.
If the xml and or msu file is called incorrectly he should have spc play.
Maybe you want to try the latest bsnes that plays like snes9x without xml needed?

Looking at what you've done I wonder that you didn't break the code, look where you hooked: 07fd10 for the big code and then 07fe10 for spc.
So you overwrite a big part of the code.
Have you checked the asm whether it works? I give guarantee it won't. Therefore I told you it's better to use labels

Mainly only sd2snes was affected, that buzzing when track was missing. I didn't announce it public since only a small amount of users are affected

I tested it here now and unfortunately this patch is not compatible with the Japanese version that was recently translated.
