Street Fighter Alpha 2 Help? no music?

hello friends, we are new to this rom patching stuff.

we are trying to run the street fighter alpha 2 and downloaded the MSU1_StreetFighterAlpha2_20221021_gizaha.zip and extracted the whole folder with the pcm files and sfc file but when we run the sfa2-msu1.sfc file in snes9x-x64 emulator on windows there is no music just the announcement sounds and fighting sounds. how can we get this to work in the emulator and on the ever drive pro?

do we need to do something with the zipped files?

It sounds like the name of your rom is not matching the pcm set name. What version of snes9x are you using? An old version wont work, that might be it too (but it is probably the rom name). Check out my tutorial, it is 5 minutes and might help.

seems we had only downloaded the folder that had the sfc and pcm files but there was another zip file that had a ips file in it that was needed.

had to extract the pcm files and the sfc file with the ips file in one folder and then use the flips.exe program to join everything up which generated a new sfc file now working superb in emulator latest version of snes9x-x64.

for this to work with ever drive pro do we just drag and drop the new sfc file with the pcm files in one folder on the sd card?

also how to get it to work with the hackchi for snes mini?

I am not entirely sure as I do not have either of those devices. I know sd2snes has some sort of extra step to get it to play beyond my 5 minute tutorial. Maybe someone else in the community can answer this one.
