Re: MSU1 Patch wishlist
Hi, it would be great to have the MSU-1 version of Dragon Ball Z Super Butouden 1, 2 and 3. In fact there are perfect arrange soundtracks for the game. I leave links to YouTube so that you can check it and a link to MEGA with the three soundtracks arrange in Mp3 in case someone wants to try it. Greetings to all!

Re: MSU1 Patch wishlist
I found an album that is based on the tracks of the game Zombies Ate My Neighbors and I never told here my desire to see it with a patch because unfortunately I don't have the ability to contribute with coding and I didn't had a pack of PCM`s to propose. But now, I got the pack.
("Pyramid of Fear" is one of my favorite songs from all the SNES games btw).
Judging by the way the SPC`s plays, it seems to me that this game has a peculiarity that could make hacking difficult; the instruments were arranged so that they were changing tracks countless times during execution. It prevents extracting the 8 tracks of each song individually and proposing a new mix from them. I've even tried to assemble the jigsaw of each instrument, but it would be exhausting task because sometimes even the reverberation of a sound went randomly to another track.
I really hope that this point doesn't make it difficult for someone who, someday, could do the job. Fortunately, there are few tracks: 12 in total (11 if we consider that one of them is an SFX).
The game was recently released on STEAM and I was wondering if more people haven't taken the time to revisit the soundtrack. I found a band called LAME GENIE that released an album two years ago with all of the tracks.
Well, to contribute I supported them through bandcamp and had access to the uncompressed files of the album: https://lamegenie.bandcamp.com/
The album covers all the songs in the game and I just worked on looping points and conversion.

Even if the patch doesn't come out, I'm grateful for the work done so far and for the maintenance of the site.

Re: MSU1 Patch wishlist
@daniloroxette I was able to successfully patch it. I just need to do some basic testing. My approach allows you to have a unique track for each stage. Only problem, this game has 40+ stages from watching a long play not long ago. The code can be tweaked where you can repeat the tracks, mix match, etc as you wish by modifying a track table. I was able to incorporate SPC fallback, so hopefully, this could help with OST workload.

Wishlist!
Kyuuyaku Megami Tensei
Shin Megami Tensei II
Shin Megami Tesnei IF...
At this point there isn't much left for me to see MSU-1-d as a wish come true. I thought it was a bit of surprise to see SMT1 get a MSU-1 patch.
I second that Majin Tensei MSU-1 as well, Majin Tensei Series may not have been as popular as the rest of the franchise but thankfully there is a Arrange OSTs for those.

Re: MSU1 Patch wishlist
Hello, I would like to suggest a game called Desert Strike as a contender for MSU treatment. It's a very fun game and has a lot of different sources for music to be used. It's not in any way shape or form a high priority request, just a suggestion. I would totally understand if this does not get fulfilled at all. I hope everyone has a great day.

Point and click games along with RPGs can take a very long time to msu. While every game is different it generally takes weeks if not more to do. It really burns a hacker out. While I am happy that the game has a great orchestral remix, please understand that your request might go unfilled for now. I hope you understand.

Re: MSU1 Patch wishlist
I know @bsinky had mentioned doing more SMT series on the snes at some point, but I believe he's currently working on a Fire Emblem game... it could be a long long wait for any work on any particular game.
having a full soundtrack replacement available is a good thing though, and will certainly help motivate an eventual patch

So very true. Full soundtracks are never a bad thing
I hopes said user request is filled at some point.

Re: MSU1 Patch wishlist
Just for the legacy of the original series, I want a MSU-1 hack of the Thomas The Tank Engine games on the SNES, using the original official Classic Era soundtrack by Mike O'Donnell and Junior Campbell, along with that, maybe actual scenes from the episodes of that era as cutscenes!

What I really want next is a MSU-1 Hack for ClayFighter 1, along with its Tournament Edition & ClayFighter 2: Judgement Clay!
That would sound amazing!

Is there music remixes for those games available? If there is and you are willing to make the pcm tracks for the games it will greatly increase the odds of your request happening.

Not much, but I'm pretty sure there's someone who can do remixes!
