This hack is mostly compatible with the uncensored patch found here:

The title screen and enter name screens are silent, but everything else works! Small price to pay to get the crosses and blood back!

I uploaded a new version, which should fix this intro mute in the uncensored version and still be compatible with the native version:

For safety reasons, I keep the old version (which is fully playtested) in a subfolder zip "old". I'd welcome if anybody playtests both versions with the new patch to ensure everything is alright

Im replacing stage A song tonight..so ill add to the pcms tonight..but bonus lvl i,was gonna leave it as spc ..until i found from JF..mix..that i cant change..unless smbody make another one..cause is not on the Web

Ok i changed...15.pcm= stage A clock tower plus i fixed.. 19.pcm= secret room... a new link is ready the old link is gone..

I did not fully test it yet. But thanks for the quick fix in Stage A. For me the sound in the bonus stage does still not sound as clear as on Youtube for example. But I also don't understand much about converting raw audio.. I guess the audio did loos data when converting to raw somehow..(to loud) When I open them in a editor they look like this. The lower is a mp3 of youtube with more details that sounds less grained. https://imgur.com/S1XFGFe

We dont use same spc when we hack the games we try to use remix,arranged musics..or orchestrated...but in common..with the spc originals..like same song only remix..and i tested bonus.for me is fine.

Good to know I am using Emulator (bsnes-plus-073+3) and have little quality issus but only with this tow stages. Also used Audacity. To look into it a bit. Will post again when I find out what it was. Thanks for the good work and quick respond.

The link for the PCMs seems to be not working. I download a files that shows as files.rar and tell me it is incomplete and doesn't let me download it. any one else with the same problem?

I came to check out CV4 with the Soundtrack Edit.
As i am greatful to everyone that is working or hacking on Games that deserve it. I will play through CV4 with your edited Soundtrack and load up on my YT Channel, cause if People maybe check the Videos they get interested in the whole CV4 hacking Thing.
I will credit this Forum in every of my Videos and also
give you a link to my Channel, so that you can check out
everything is fine.

sc4_msu.ips on your unheadered US version of Super Castlevania IV (e.g. Super Castlevania IV (U) [!].sfc)
2.
Rename your rom into sc4_msu1.sfc (sc4_msu1.sfc, not sc_msu.sfc or whatever)
