TMNT - The Hyperstone Heist (MD+ & MSU-MD) :: Comments
@Relikk Thanks for fixing my blunder. I went ahead and updated using your archive. The link remains the same. I just overwrote my file with yours. Thanks for your help in fixing this.
IMPORTANT :
Another one is not working! I have the same problem I had recently with the "OutRun": https://www.zeldix.net/t1990-outrun-md
Pls, that is not all, I realized that there are other games like "Ghostbusters" (MD) for example that, until recently worked fine, and suddenly it has stopped working, it just shows a black screen. I can't understand what's happening with the "Genesis Plus GX".

I don't have any problems with either of those games using G+GX. It has to be an issue on your end somewhere.
Thanks again, Mr. @Relikk. I realized that the problem is that via emulator the ".bin" + ".cue" format not working. Only ".wav" + ".cue" format works. So there is an error here :
M S U - M D S O U N D P A C K S
...for Mega Everdrive Pro, GenesisPlusGX emulator, and Sega-CD users..
** This pack not working via "emulator".
M D + S O U N D P A C K S
...for MegaSD flashcart and MD+ MAME users...
** This pack works via "GenesisPlus GX emulator".

Well, it stands to reason that you should be using the relevant soundpack for the patch you're using. If it's an MD+ patch then you should use an MD+ sound pack with it. But I still don't get black screens when using an MD+ ROM with an MSU-MD sound pack for example, so again, I suspect that there could be a setting on your end that is causing this problem. Or another reason that is more likely is that the ROM header was edited (by someone else) to "SEGA MEGASD", which is unnecessary. It should say "SEGA GENESIS" or "SEGA MEGA DRIVE".
The only quirk with using MSU-MD sound packs with an MD+ ROM, is that the setting in the "Options > System > CD add-on (MD mode)" must be set to MegaSD, otherwise the external audio will not play. This setting should be set to "Auto" for everything else (MSU-MD patch with MSU-MD audio, and MD+ patch with MD+ audio).

Thank you for your reply, Mr. Relikk. The black screen only happened to me with "Ghostbusters", it is already solved. It happens that in a certain post it had been specified that "MSU-MD sound pack" was compatible with "GenesisPlusGX emulator", and it is not correct. That's why I got confused.
Regards.

Relikk, do you still have the md+ patch? the link is down
There is an awesome new hack of the game that sadly doesn't work with the MD+ patch. The hack adds a new Turtle color option "OG", adds a "Super" difficulty, making it harder than before, and it adds a "Survival" mode where you have to defeat as many Foot Soldiers as you can until you die.
