Important Side Note: If you have seen the qwertymodo preview that is on his YouTube Channel that has all the FMV cutscenes, that project is not finished yet. We do not know when it will be finish but please respect qwertmodo and there is no need for him to be asked frequently about it.

Here's Qwerty's patch and FMV

Make sure you have pcm 100 in order for video to work.

Does not include!
Only the (QUERTYMODO)
For other FMV's, download the other packs ...
There are plans to split the fmv so different cutscenes can be watched at different locations, that is qwertys lifetask, and don't expect it in the next years.
So yes currently there's only one watermarked intro fmv

Is it just me or does the CT Plus patch make the game easier? i feel like the fights from the beginning of the game are easier than they were before and i also leveled up quite quickly which i don't like because it doesn't give you a challenge
If anybody is having issues downloading the patch or the FMV files, I apologize. My server seems to be dying, I'm not sure if it's just the boot disk or if the whole motherboard is on its way out. I'm working on it.
Retroplay wrote:Other FMVs ?
AFAIK there's currently only one FMV available, the intro sequence.
Excuse me...
I thought I had two anime introductions for this one,
actually (Out of This World you have)
Unfortunately it was my lack of attention here, ok.
Is it just me or does the CT Plus patch make the game easier? Anyone? the fights in the first forest of the game feel easier, why?
hey guys, on another note i was thinking, isn't the Chrono Trigger Resurrection OST basically a complete or almost complete version of the original OST? It has 49 files which is the same amount of files as Blake Robinson's Symphony VOL. 1 and 2 so MAYBEEE and just maybe Chrono Trigger resurrection songs can be used for most of the game and use Blake Robinson's songs for the songs that are missing in Chrono Trigger Resurrection OST. How would that work and how would one go on doing that?

Yeah! You just collect the music the music tracks, find loop points with audacity, and plug the numbers in. qwertymodo got tools and guides that make this stuff simple.

Thanks for this, I'm currently doing kind of the same thing as I think some songs don't fit too much or feel a bit too out of place or weirdly timed (Wings Of Time feeling too soft and Robo's Theme feeling a bit akward on the loop)

I definitely agree! I am pretty good at music editing so I was going to at some point change some tempos with some songs, find some new tracks for stuff like robo theme, and release my own pcm set. I did the same thing with super Metroid as some tracks were odd, like ridley fight, so I fixed them. However, not sure if I can do this pcm set anytime soon but I want to eventually.
Also, I am going to add this single track to the pcm swap category when I get home from work and am on my laptop rather than phone. Thanks edale for making this track
I'm mostly doing the PCM for personal flavor, it basically began with Critical Moment from the Orchestra version, it's too slow for such an urgent situation, so I sped it up. So far I've changed the follorwing:
Robo's Theme - Chrono Trigger Orchestral Arrangement
Epoch Wings Of Time - Atiri
World Revolution - Chrono Trigger Orchestral Arrangement
Wind Scene - Chrono Trigger Orchestral Arrangement
Black Omen - Chrono Trigger Orchestral Arrangement
Last Battle - Chrono Trigger Orchestral Arrangement
Sealed Door - Chrono Trigger Orchestral Arrangement
Battle Theme - Chrono Trigger Orchestral Arrangement
Outskirts of Time - EtlanZ
Lavos Scream - Dracula9AntiChapel
I wanted to keep the orchestra tone except for the ending which is an upbeat remix.

I didn't find that track. Someone requested it get converted in the MSU1 Patch Wishlist thread, so I converted it. Granted they requested it in December, and I saw the request and fulfilled in it May, but... It still got done in the end?
When I converted it, I also posted it in this and the PCM Swap threads, since it was relevant to both. Oh yea, it's already on the PCM Swap list.
But yea, if any of you find a track you want converted, for this or any other MSU project, just post a link to the song and I'll take care of converting it, doesn't matter what platform the song is on (as long as I don't have to pay to listen to it, I can manage to get a copy).

So a more fast-paced sounding version of Critical Moment, done in a way to really drum up the excitement and tension of the moment?DhaosM wrote:I'm mostly doing the PCM for personal flavor, it basically began with Critical Moment from the Orchestra version, it's too slow for such an urgent situation, so I sped it up.
How's this version work?

Say the word, and I'll convert it.

Oh I think that would be great for a rock/metal PCM set, I'm mostly keeping with the Orchestral version, so what I'm doing right now is just speeding up the orchestra one and retiming it ,but i'm sure if you convert it someone will enjoy it
What about just doing a tempo change to the existing orchestra version? We can take a good track and speed it up
JUD6MENT wrote:What about just doing a tempo change to the existing orchestra version? We can take a good track and speed it up
This is my tempo change to Critical Moment, it's sped up to match the tempo of the original but slow enough to feel as if an actual orchestra could play it. https://mega.nz/file/i18HxYTL#4y1RzOeQVB5JMFkTsNL2qMJLFnzW4OdrfukfsWJFNTc
Any chance of sharing these? I have issues with some of the same tracks and would certainly enjoy changing them as well.DhaosM wrote:I'm mostly doing the PCM for personal flavor, it basically began with Critical Moment from the Orchestra version, it's too slow for such an urgent situation, so I sped it up. It seems like more and more people are requesting a tempo accurate msu-1 of this. I think i will put my other projects on hold and work on this next. I am going to compare each track side by side with the original soundtrack and change tempo and loudness to try to mimic the original but with orchestra style. I am also going to change out a few tracks that should not be orchestra but more electronic, as mention previously in this forum with tracks like Robo Theme, to match the ost more closely in music style as well. Give me 2-4 weeks and i will most likely have something ready to present and release.
I am making great progress on the pcm set i mentioned in earlier post. I got 25 more tracks which i think i can get done by sunday or monday. Then i will spend about 3-4 days playing through the game doing minor volume adjustment and getting a preview video recorded. Then i will release the finished product about this time next week (if all goes well).
